The creation of Personal Perfume is an exciting journey we take

by exploring Scent as a Language, Fragrance as a poetic personal Story –

surprising and entertaining, emotional and adventurous, maybe even dramatic but certainly enjoyable and always 

engaging and inspirational.

3. At the next step we carry on ‘Aromatic Diagnostics’:

while experiencing a variety of ‘tones’ of the Aromatic Spectrum, you are introduced to possible elements of the emerging Perfume.

Observing Your impressions, we discover Your ‘Aromatic Profile’, which enables me to understand the fundamental Connection – between your feelings about a variety of odours – and the desirable features in your ‘fragrant-Portrait-in-making’.

During this fun stage of exploration, we try and test specific combinations of aromatic ingredients with the natural scent of Your skin, and I educate myself on the effects of your living biochemistry –

in order to create a fragrant Harmony that will unite the Perfume with your own unique odour and conjure the wanted Magic.

First step-

After our initial phone conversation – in which we discuss all the technicalities, conditions and logisitcs, as well as making the first appointment, we begin with an Acquaintance Meeting in my beautiful home atelier in Berlin, Germany (or at your dwellings upon your preference – on rather very special arrangements I am willing to travel).

We proceed to define the Idea and the Concept at the base of Your Perfume, we clarify its purpose and general character along with more specific mood;

for instance, a big dramatic ‘party-night manifesto’ is a very different story from the ‘relaxing holiday morning’, or from an ‘intimate sultry affair’.

Together we decide on desirable impressions and wishful associations, meaningful images and emotions that will set into your fragrance.

2. Then we commence to discover Your Aromatic Personality –

for that I apply my skills as a diagnostician & therapist in Aroma-Genera & holistic Psychotherapy; I employ my worldly experience & education as a multidisciplinary artist (worth mentioning Classical Music – for being a profound model & eternal inspiration for the Science & Art of Perfume), along with my aesthetic talents, and not in the least – the Olfactory gift –

all at your service.

As we go, I get to learn the World of Your Individuality –

your tastes and habits, your temperament and character, your cultural and aesthetic values, your lifestyle – while we are sampling and feeling some initial ‘key’ essences, making impressions and noting responses;

in my turn of phrase, ‘Beauty is in the nostrils of the beholder’.

4. At the conclusion of our Acquaintance meeting – after we have properly doused ourselves into scent-saturated numbness,

I dedicate a number of days to the quiet Magic of Creation – combining the insights and Inspiration – with the artisan rules and secrets of the craft.

I also spend time to source around the Globe some finest and ultra-special ingredients – extraordinary and provenance-rarified essences, some of which will come out of the vaults of private collectors, along with unique and exquisite batches of the artisanal grades – like ‘wild jungle’, ‘royal’, ‘super premium’ and ‘legend’.

5. Then we meet again for the First Fitting –

an initial try-on of the Perfume: we are making impressions and evaluations, 

and now I can analyse the connection between your living breathing skin – 

and the real version of the fragrance 

-in its unpredictable complexity of individual ‘chemistry’ –

it amazes me every time, how different the same ingredient may smell on different people at different moments of life.

6. The Fine-Tuning stage follows – 

with series of adjustments, alterations, corrections – 

put into the rounds of my Craft – to refine and hone – 

to put an edge of ‘Zest’, and to create a polished yet distinct, 

a ‘magical’ wearable Aroma-Story, full of flair, chic and sparkle.

On your preference, the Perfume can be made as a liquid –

with pharma-grade pure grain/grape alcohol as the universal solvent,

or at the more luxurious levels (see ‘Cost’) – 

with ultra-rare floral alcoholic extraits (Violets, Freesia, Honesuckle – 

on availability) or even in pure Sandalwood oil.

Alternatively, the perfume can be made as a solid balm – 

in the base of Beurre de Karité (Shea), Cacao butter or 

in ultra-rare floral waxes and ‘enfleurage’ pomades – 

in likes of Peonies, Lilac or Madonna Lily – 

upon occasional availability.

7. Once the Final Touches are concluded to our congenial satisfaction,

I complete then the process with creating the package, 

and the adorning name:

despite my sincere conviction about the supremacy of contents over bottle, 

in sake of immersive joy of the complete experience – ‘Gesamtkunstwerk‘,

I invest an effort to create an original container fit 

for the Image of Your Fragrance.

The formula of Your Perfume, precise and final, 

is kept as a secret, with guaranteed exclusivity – 

existing in a single bottle.

In case You wish to recreate the same perfume again, 

that can be done – albeit with minor variations –

minding the uniqueness of natural raw materials, 

as well as the changes in all of us passing through Time – 

no two trees are alike, Panta rhei –

thus wiser is to make a fresh brand-new fragrance.
